Education and the Christian Worldview Bibliographies. Ancient Works on Education. Classic Christian Works; Models of religious education. Wheaton, Victor Books. Clark, G. H. (). Creating a Christian Worldview: Abraham Kuyper’s Lectures . Our collection of worldview materials represents one of the foundational goals of Exodus Books—to bring every aspect of our existence into subjection to Christ, including our minds. If we are to be effective tools of evangelism and truth in the world, it is imperative we understand the ideas opposing biblical doctrine and have a response.

A Biblical Worldview learning environment uses the Word of God to determine its system of moral values and ethics and this learning environment is guided by Godly principles. Values, morals and ethics are excellent areas of learning, where transfer of our Godly culture can take place. Our worldview is formed by our education, our upbringing, the culture we live in, the books we read, the media and movies we absorb, etc. For many people their worldview is simply something they have absorbed by osmosis from their surrounding cultural influences.

After living and teaching worldview concepts for thirteen years now, I have learned two life changing things: worldviews are the result of the stories we believe, and worldviews flow from the rhythms of our lives. Years ago, when I first started studying worldview and teaching it to my children and others, my goal was simple: ensure children know what is true and can discern truth from falsehood. Worldview stories can be Prescriptive or Cautionary. They help readers or viewers draft a narrative around their own possibilities, limitations, decisions and need for change. We’re drawn to Worldview stories for similar reasons. Core Emotion is what a reader wants to feel–the reason they choose a particular type of story. It’s what they.
